Knowledge is a matter of recollection

Acryl on paper

14 x 11 cm

To me, we as human beings are the representation of knowledge. When I was a child it were my parents who represented knowledge. I believed they knew everything and had every answer to impossible questions. Later on it were my teachers, a writer, my friends and family. Our recollections can make us learn, they can make us understand why we are who we are today. These paintings are a collection of these recollections. Memories of a long time ago that made me learn, have affected me in the past or even still affect me today.
